KEEP WRITING…

4 sessions of creative writing to meet other writers, get you writing and give you fresh ideas. Beginners and experienced writers welcome. SOLD OUT – please email if you would like to go on a waiting list

Thursday 6th June, 13th, 20th and 27th. Venue: Bath Library Time: 10.30am-12.30 pm    Cost £74 for the series. No refunds but you can send a friend if unable to attend.

Sessions are informal and the aim is to get you writing and keep you writing with lots of creative exercises and tips and info about voice, style, editing etc. Whether you are writing a memoir, a novel, short stories or just thinking about it, these sessions will help keep you writing. Different guest authors will share their particular expertise and passion at each session.

Four creative writing workshops with Alex and guest authors. 

These sessions will be based around the theme of Aspects of Novel Writing – i.e. setting, plot, character and voice. Lots of hands on writing exercises to get you writing and fire the imagination. Beginners and experienced writers welcome. You don’t have to have started writing a novel, maybe you write short stories or  simply enjoy being creative and meeting other writers.  Sessions are fun and inform

3 Workshops in November

These hands-on sessions will be loosely based around memoir and autobiographical writing and are suitable for complete beginners or experienced writers. Each session will have a guest writer for half the session with further exercises to stimulate you to write.

      THE FOCUS IN ON getting you writing with lots of prompts and exercises to give you ideas for novels or short stories.  Each week a different guest speaker will join me and talk about their particular genre, what they are engaged in or about their writing life. These workshops are suitable for beginners or experienced writers. Informal. Come and meet other writers. Numbers are limited to 12 –

Guest writers who are joining me are Andrea Harman, Mary Griese, Ele Nash, James Ellis and Christine Mafarlane (not necessarily in that order!)
