Definition of blue-sky thinking:
“creative ideas that are not limited by current thinking or beliefs.”
Set the timer and whoosh out a piece about a person who has a brilliant idea, when everything is up in the air. Does their idea get taken up? What happens? Put in a few clouds perhaps.
Thought from Alex: I heard Colm Toibin on Desert Island Discs describe how he can hear a piece of music and think, I want my writing to sound just like that!
