Dog story – a writing prompt from Alex

Write a story which includes a dog. Give it a beginning, middle and end but keep the story to a time span of a few hours. Remember to include all the senses. And, give the story an imaginative title (for practice!)

The focus is on getting you writing with prompts for creative writing exercises, but also on writing challenges such as getting stuck, dealing with your inner critic, knowing when to end etc. Beginners and experienced writers welcome.
