Luck be my lady

Prompt from Alex: These are amulets from World War 1.  The difference between a charm and an amulet is that a charm is worn to attract good luck and an amulet provides protection from danger.

Have you ever had a charm or an amulet?   Write a short story about either.

Prickles

This week’s prompt by Jude.

The bees love teasels. And so do I. But they are prickly. Write about a prickly relationship between two people. Friends, lovers, siblings, parents and children.  Or connect with the ‘tease’ in teasels and write about a time when you enjoyed being teased. Was there a prickly element to it?

Want to get more inspiration for writing? Come to our autumn series of writing sessions. Beginning Thursday 22nd September at Brown’s Bistro, Bath.  More details and to book  here.
