Writing challenge – leap into writing

Sometimes we need a challenge to get writing – Here is mine.

For the next seven days, come up with one idea a day for a short story or a novel.

Are you sitting comfortably? Find a notebook and pen. Put on some music, close your eyes and let an idea drift into your mind. Sit there until an idea comes, it doesn’t have to be brilliant, any idea will do. Write a sentence describing it and then put your notebook away.

At the end of the week choose one of the sentences and give it a title. Focus on it and write a first short story draft or a rough synopsis for a novel. Keep the other ideas for another day.

WRITING SESSIONS FOR JUNE ARE SOLD OUT BUT THERE WILL BE MORE IN SEPTEMBER (Dates and venue to be confirmed but probably from the Thursday 19th Sept. for four weeks.. SO STAY IN TOUCH…)
